The Okaeri, Deku! U.A. Special Stage announced on Sunday that the fourth movie for the popular anime series is in production. The event also revealed a teaser visual that shows Deku, Bakugou, and Todoroki in new costumes.
The movie will feature an original story that takes place at the same time as the television anime’s timeline and follow the collapse of the safe society. What kind of challenges and dangers will our heroes face? How will they overcome them with their quirks and teamwork? You will have to wait and see!
The Boku no Hero Academia manga, written and illustrated by Kouhei Horikoshi, has been serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump since July 2014. It has 38 volumes published so far, with the 39th volume coming out on September 2.
The anime adaptation has been airing since Spring 2016, with six seasons and three movies completed. The seventh season is currently in production and will continue the story of Deku and his classmates at U.A. High School.
